Funded by the Amarillo Economic Development Corporation, the Amarillo EnterPrize Challenge is a program of the WT Enterprise Center.  It aims to help entrepreneurs expand an existing business or launch a new business.  Everyone who participates will gain a better understanding of how to develop and follow a realistic business plan, and qualifying entrants can request a share of $500,000 in capital funding grants.

WT_LogoDuring the run of the challenge, the WT Enterprise Center will provide business planning workshops in group format to discuss tips, best practices, and overall guidelines to be successful in the Amarillo EnterPrize Challenge.  Additionally, one on one coaching is available.  Coaches can meet with applicants to discuss strategy, build financials, and finalize business plans before they are submitted.

Submissions will be evaluated by independent judges who will choose a pool of finalists.  Finalists will have the opportunity to conduct a live presentation of their ideas.  The judges will then choose which entrepreneurs will receive the grant funding to grow their business.
