Zzapp Malaria, with its artificial intelligence-based system for planning, executing, and monitoring of large-scale, cost-effective malaria eradication operations, has been awarded the $250,000 Grand Prize for the Cisco Global Problem Solver Challenge 2021.
Cisco is committed to positively impacting 1 billion people by 2025. Now in its fifth year, the Cisco Global Problem Solver Challenge aims to recognize new business ideas that leverage technology for social impact from early-stage entrepreneurs around the world. To date, it has awarded $1.25 million USD to 43 start-ups in 15 countries.
