5x5 Challenge Secures Activision a Spot on Fast Company's 50 Best Workplaces for Innovators

In an effort to further refine internal innovation and employee engagement, legendary interactive entertainment company, Activision, recently enlisted Skild to help them introduce the 5x5 Innovation Challenge. This program invites staff to create teams of five people and offers resources to help them think creatively and observe the world around them differently.  An internal company challenge topic is chosen and each team is given $5,000 and five weeks to conduct research, and ultimately, design live presentations on how to break through obstacles to achieve new levels of success.

After the inaugural run of the 5x5 Innovation Challenge, reception was overwhelmingly positive.  Feedback from employees indicated they enjoyed the freedom to use the funds as they chose.  They also said they had fun collaborating with their colleagues on a project that enabled them to be creative in a fresh way.  The challenge administrators received many deeply constructed ideas that are now being further developed within the organization.

This program has helped Activision earn a spot in Fast Company's inaugural list of "The 50 Best Workplaces for Innovators."

Skild is honored to be a part of this exciting program.  Congratulations, Activision, for being recognized as a forward-thinking, innovative organization!
