Let the games begin! This stage starts with launch of your event. Registration opens, marketing and PR efforts commence and submissions start pouring in. Once the submission window closes, entries are assigned to the judging panel and/or published for public evaluation.

Intuitive experiences for your participants

  • Clean user interface

OpenSkild, the out-of-the-box version of our platform, was designed to provide space for announcements, entry forms and "Quick Links" that enable administrators to share videos, images or important documents with event participants. Your logo is prominently displayed to participants in their dashboards. Want to design your own layout? It's possible using one of our premium packages.

Our optimized forms are mobile responsive and Section 508 compliant so that everyone has easy access to the system.

Keep your evaluators happy

  • The evaluation experience

Recruit judges from all over the world to evaluate entries, provide feedback, input scores, and review other judges' scores and comments. Our contest software's private judging interface will impress the even most discerning judges.

Use the "quick assign" feature to rapidly distribute all entries to your entire judging panel, or selectively decide which entries to assign to each judge. Skild automatically compiles scores and displays real-time rankings by phase. Filter, sort or search for entries to eliminate, disqualify or advance contestants to the next phase.

  • Simplicity and organization are key

Judges can score entries by choosing a value on Skild's assessment sliders, while additional feedback can be entered into text fields.

Evaluators can sort assigned entries by category. They can also sort entries to view submissions by status - Not started, In Progress or Completed.

Showcase submissions to the world

  • Publicly share as much or as little as you want from each entry

Entries can be highlighted in online public galleries. Additional options enable administrators to turn on voting and commenting.

Submissions that are displayed publicly can be shared through Twitter and Facebook. Just click the social media icons and a pop-up box will appear with a link that will bring followers back to that specific entry. Type a short update and voila, you've just shared an entry with your followers. This is a great way to spread the word. We hope it goes viral!

After having experienced several other competition platforms, never before have I been able to pull such a personalized set of statistics and data. Both participants and judges regularly comment to me on how well designed and easy it is to participate in the Cade Museum Prize using Skild, which is always a priority when managing a prize competition. The crowning stroke is that Skild team takes client relations to the highest level, and they are always eager to work with me to actualize new ideas."
